This is supposed to be a La Nina winter, which ordinarily means lots of rain and some snow in the lowlands and tons of snow in the mountains. We've had the rain, but until just a week ago there hasn't been much snow since before Christmas. So, in between the rainy stretches we've been doing at least as much hiking as snowshoeing and skiing. Different, and fun! Here are the scrapbook pages of this year's first two-and-a-half months' adventures, plus a few other layouts that I did just for fun. Keep in mind that most of the pages are intended to be viewed as a 2-page layout – some won't make much sense until you see the second half as well.
These first several pages are holdovers from 2010.
This 2-page challenge was to create a layout using the word art about grandchildren being messages to a future time. Since I don't have grandchildren, I chose to present myself as that message sent from my grandmother into the 21st century.
